Ingredients:
1 teacup Peanuts
2-3 slit Green Chillies
2 heaped Tablespoons whole Dhania (Cirander) Seeds
1 inch piece of fresh Coconut
Half a medium-sized Onion
1 Tablespoon Curd
Juice of half a lemon.
Oil
Method
Dry roast the Peanuts on a medium flame, stirring continuously, till they start changing colour and emit an aroma.
Cool and deskin.
In a small kadhai, heat 1/2 tsp of Oil.
To this, add the 2 green chillies and the whole Dhania seeds.
Sauté till they change colour.
Keep aside to cool.
In a blender,
Add the peanuts,
the dhania and chillies,
an inch piece of coconut,
half of a medium-sized Onion,
a tablespoon of Curd,
a dash of lemon juice,
Add salt to taste and water, depending on the desired consistency.
Blend.
The texture should be coarse.
Garnish with tempered red chillies, curry leaves and mustard seeds.
