Avocado Spread


Makes 2 Sandwiches

Avocado’s are loaded with health benefits. They contain heart-healthy Monounsaturated Fatty Acids , more Potassium than Bananas, help lower Cholesterol, have ‘good fat’ and powerful antioxidants that protect your eyes. These are only a few of the proven health benefits.

Ingredients:

For the spread
The pulp of 2 ripe Avocados, mashed until smooth
1/2 of a medium sized Onion, finely chopped
1/2 of a medium sized Tomato, finely chopped
1 Tsp fresh Coriander, finely chopped
1 small Green Chilly, finely chopped
 
Lemon juice, to taste 
Chaat Masala, to taste 
Salt, to taste 
Freshly ground Pepper, to taste
 
4 Slices of Bread
Butter (optional)
 
Method:
Toast the bread and apply a thin layer of butter (if using) on the slices 
 
Mix together all the ingredients of the spread and mix well together
Apply a generous layer between 2 slices
Enjoy
 
 
Note: This spread could be used as a dip too
