Introducing Bee Tee’s Melt Chocolates

Posted on 21 October 202111 April 2022 By Mayuri Sharrma

I tell you…that girl is a young woman of remarkable strength of character…a girl of firmness and the courage of her convictions …she carried a box of chocolates home the other day without opening it – America, 1889

This quote isn’t talking about me, but it might as well be! You see, I received my pack of Bee Tee’s Melt Chocolates just as I had started fasting for the Navratras. You have no idea the amount of willpower it took to not touch the chocolates for the next 8 days!

The compact box held 3 bars of chocolates, the colorful covers of which were so pretty. The chocolates were of 3 variants, which were;

Milk Chocolate, which has 48% Milk Chocolate. Cacao Beans, brown sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk are the ingredients used.

Coconut Milk Chocolate, which has 54 % Milk Chocolate. Coconut Milk, cacao beans, cocoa butter, and coconut sugar are the ingredients used.

Dark Chocolate, which has 72% Dark Chocolate. Cacao beans, palm sugar, and cocoa butter are the ingredients used.

I read this interesting information on the chocolate covers;

Chocolates with a higher level of cacao content are believed to strengthen the heart and lower the risk of coronary heart disease.

Cocoa beans contain several minerals necessary for cardiovascular function. Dietary magnesium, copper, potassium, and calcium, all reduce the risk of hypertension.

Dark Chocolate provides 36 mg of Magnesium per 100 Kcal serving, which is 9 % of the dietary allowance as recommended by the U.S. RDA.

Bee Tee’s Melt Artisan chocolates are Vegan and have a shelf life of 12 months.

What I thought of Bee Tee’s Melt Chocolates;

As someone who loves chocolates, so much so that I used to make them commercially too, I would say I have a fair idea of what good chocolate tastes like. Bee Tee’s Melt Chocolates aren’t your usual store brought chocolates. They are made using the finest of ingredients and this is something you realize when you bite into them.

Vegan Chocolates are an acquired taste. As are Bee Tee’s Melt Chocolates. Each bite was a delicious, guilt-free indulgence for me. What delighted me further was the information that the chocolates contain no cocoa powder and no cocoa solids. there are no artificial sweeteners used. The chocolates are gluten-free, Soy-free, refined sugar-free, and preservative-free.

Though I enjoyed all the 3 bars, The Dark Chocolate Bar was my most favorite one. The 72 % of Dark Chocolate was perfect enough to give it that bitter aftertaste without making you wince. The Milk Chocolate was very good too with a hint of sweetness. The taste of the Coconutmilk Chocolate took me by surprise. It was rather unusual, and I must admit I took my time getting used to it.

The instructions on the bar read ‘Refrigerate and eat at room temperature’. I did refrigerate the bars, yes, but I found the taste to be a tad sharp at room temperature. I enjoyed them immensely straight from the fridge. Cool, firm, and the perfect after-meal dessert.

I enjoyed every square of Bee Tee’s these artisanal chocolates. If you would like to try them out you could check their website (psstttttt, they have a 15 % festive discount on 1st orders going on!) or order them off Amazon

Put eat chocolate at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you will get on thing done- The Culinarian, 2002.

    I am truly tempted by these chocolates, Mayuri. But I do need to read up if they are nut allergy friendly. Not many chocolate makers in India take that into consideration.
