What’s it about?
Otis is a student who is not noticed at his school Moordale High. Maeve is another who is deliberately ignored. Happenstance leads Otis and Maeve to start an underground Sex Clinic on the campus, with Otis using the matter and advice he gleans from his Sex Therapist Mom, Jean. What happens on the campus full of hormonally charged teenagers post that and how do things change for Otis and Maeve? Watch Sex Education to find out.
.
What did I think of it?
Sex is a sticky topic for most. Sex Education is literally about the title, but that’s not all there is to it.
It is a brilliantly written series where each of the characters has an identity of their own. You may like them, or not, but you do connect to them!
As curious teens learn about sex, as a viewer you learn about human nature, insecurities, and the battle within their minds. You learn about relationships, the facade of some, and the tenderness of others.
You understand that awkwardness does not go away with age and the need to matter and to be wanted far outweighs the need for sex.
Did I mention that it was brilliantly written?
The series deals with awkward topics in such a tongue-in-cheek manner that you can’t help but understand them from a new perspective. After watching all 3 seasons of it, I would conclude that discussions about sex shouldn’t be such a taboo topic at all.
Sex Education is an intelligent, series that handles a subject that is often brushed under the carpet. It is sensitively made and the casting is simply brilliant!

Wow or Not Now?
For the longest time ever I skipped watching this series, because of its title. Till a friend thought I should see it and would enjoy it! I binged watched Season 1 & 2 straight up and counted down the days for Season 3 to go live!

What Else? Don’t judge a book by its cover or a series by its name. My favorites are Eric, Adam, Jean, Aimee, and Maeve. Do tell me who your favorites are if you’ve watched it too. If you haven’t watched Sex Education yet, you’re missing out!

***** 5  Stars to Sex Education

* I should have counted the stars instead.

** I watched it while I played Candy Crush on my phone.

*** Totally worth it!

**** Loved it so much, I wish I had starred in it!

The title made me avoid watching it with my kids. But will surely watch it before I watch it with them. It’s good that they know about it.

I have also not watched this only because of the title and thought it must be a show for the young adults. But after your recommendation, I am going to watch it.

I love how they have addressed this difficult topic. I also like that they are talking about all kinds of sexual orientations and the problems or liberties they have to deal with. A really well crafted show that talks about a difficult topic in a very easy sensitive manner
