6 of the most inspirational places to visit

Posted on 20 December 201830 December 2018 By Mayuri Sharrma

There’s something so magical and beautiful about traveling around the world, soaking up other cultures and having unique experiences. For many, travel can be filled with inspiration that can help grow and shape us as people. If you want to feel inspired when you’re traveling, then you need to visit any of these six inspirational destinations.

Maldives

“If life is a beach, let it be Maldives,” I say. This little gem in the middle of the Indian ocean is absolutely stunning, thanks to the clear blue waters and the white-sanded beaches. It’s the kind of destination dreams are made of – a real slice of paradise. The weather is sunny and warm, the sea is perfect for swimmers and paddlers, and the food and drink is divine. After a week or two in the Maldives, you’ll come back feeling like a new person.

Zanzibar

Yet another destination that will spoil you when it comes to its beaches. However, if you’re not the kind of person who can lay down on a beach all day, then there’s something else Zanzibar can offer you, too: wildlife. Tanzania is renowned for its safari adventures, and this is the perfect place to combine both adventure and relaxation. Spend the first half of your time in Zanzibar going on safari, before spending the second half simply relaxing on the white-sanded beaches.

Myanmar

There’s something so magical about Myanmar, particularly if you head to the ancient city of Bagan. Here you’ll find over 2,000 different pagodas, monasteries and temples, although it’s thought that in ancient times there were over 10,000 in total. If you’re looking for a place that’s all about self-discovery, then Myanmar ticks all of the right boxes. You might not ever want to go back home.

Cuba

If you’re looking for something a bit more upbeat, then Cuba is going to be the destination for you. This Caribbean island is packed full of colors, sounds, and sights, along with a fascinating history. Oh, and not forgetting the sea turtles! The only thing you have to be aware of is that it’s a legal requirement to have travel insurance in Cuba, so make sure you have this sorted before you leave.

Rome

For those who love basking in ancient history, Rome is going to be perfect for you. This sprawling cosmopolitan city is packed full of historic buildings, such as the Colosseum and St Peter’s Basilica. If you ever need any kind of artistic inspiration, then this is also the place for you. Plus, you get to indulge in proper Italian food. What could be better?

Bora-Bora-Travel-Sirimiri-places

Bora Bora

No inspirational destinations list would be complete without the absolutely awe-inspiring Bora Bora. This tiny South Pacific island is constantly seen on TV, in movies, and in magazines, usually thanks to celebrities picking it as their vacation destination of choice. Stay in a sea hut above the ocean, wake up in the morning to go for a swim in the turquoise waters, and soak up the peace and tranquility of such an exclusive destination.

These destinations are the perfect places to visit if you feel like you need some inspiration in your life. Do you have any others to add to the list? I’d love to hear them! Please let me know in the comments.
