She stood still and gazed out at the placid waters of the river, her mood contemplative.
Waiting by the river her thoughts took her back in time, and she began recollecting experiences she had gathered along the way. Some good, others not so good. Some really wonderful, some strange ones. Varied people from different strata had been her co-passengers on this journey called life.
If everyone was the same what fun would life be? If we didn’t encounter the wrong people, how would we value he right ones? If things always went our way wouldn’t we miss out on the sweet taste of well-earned success? It was all these differences, these memories that made life interesting, wasn’t that a fact?
The Boat waited to see who would be her co passengers would be today, and smiled as she saw a big group of school children making their way towards her.

Each day we meet different people from different walks of life. Some of them teach us a lesson or two and some others maybe learn from us. In totality it is a cause and effect relationship. If there is darkness we know and value light so i guess in the same way experiencing the bad teaches us to value the goodness of life.
I am a regular reader of your posts. I love your all posts. Thanks for sharing wonderful posts.
She might be having the treasure trove of stories that can fill the seas of thoughts! And if she could really speak, it would would what you mused here, Mayuri.
Sounds like me everyday I am in the metro. Although, if a group of school children came on board, I would probably move some place far, far away.
We all meet co passengers through our life. As they come and go. We hope they are pleassant ones, but well not always to our wishes come true:) But thats life isnt it
