On a recent road trip we stopped by on the highway to refresh ourselves with some tea. As we sipped on a perfectly made cup of it, I spotted this Devil’s face mask (Drishti Gombe or Evil Defender) opposite me, and the shop. Of course I had to click it, then ask the shop owner about it.
Very earnestly he explained that the mask is placed facing the shop to keep the evil eye away. ‘And the bulbs?’ I asked, despite knowing the obvious answer. ‘To light up the area around my shop, of course!’ he exclaimed.
He couldn’t explain the adorable pink bow placed on the devil’s head though ;-D

Liked that pink bow the mark is wearing . Such surprises make the trip more enjoyable.
Omg! Never saw anything like that. Such a fun capture. So glad you shared 🙂
This is so cute .The bow makes this so perfect somehow.Wonder how the evil eye thing works though!
Really interesting! I have seen such masks put up inside shop premises never opposite. Good spotting.
Haha…not seen anything like this before! Very intriguing, I’d have thought!
Iam imagining how it would be at night with bulb on everything around dark ☺
