5 Beauty Products I am Thankful For #ThankfulThursdays #Week20

Women love looking beautiful. When women look beautiful they feel beautiful. When they feel beautiful they feel good. When they feel good, they feel happy. And when Women are happy, all’s well with the world!:)

My most used beauty products are a Lipstick and Liner but when there is a special occasion and/or when I need to look and feel different these are the Beauty Products that I am thankful for.

Kajal/Liner : I have a little problem, not all Kajals suit me, more so when I use them on the waterline (inside my eyes) I so love lining my eyes with Kajal as it instantly perks me up and my face and my Maybelline Colossal Kajal is what works for me for my regular use. This slim pencil holds a no smudge, long stay and truly the blackest black of all the Kajals I’ve used so far. The Revlon Colorstay–One Stroke Defining Eyeliner is what I use for special occasions and I love the smooth feel of it as it glides on my waterline.

Lipstick : I think every woman would agree with me when I say that our lipstick is our favourite beauty accessory. Can a woman ever have enough lipsticks? No!

Maybelline Velvet Matte Lipstick  is my recent discovery. A rich, creamy lipstick in the most gorgeous shade of Pink. Matt it with a tissue and it stains your lips, for day wear. Slather it on for a glossy, perfect evening look. With a barely-there fragrance that reminds you of its presence on your lips and a texture that doesn’t dry your lips even after regular use, I am not surprised that it is my current favorite!

MAC- RubyWoo is the LBD of lipsticks, a must-have in every woman’s make up kit. I love how this stunning shade of Red changes color according to the accompanying outfit  you’re wearing . I also think this is one shade that suits every complexion. So if you don’t own it already, go buy it!

Lakme CC Complexion Care Cream calls itself the ‘Instant Skin Stylist’ and I would completely agree. Give your face a clean matt look with a tiny amount of the CC Cream as it that blends beautifully into your skin with your fingers or a sponge and you instantly have and even skin tone and its SPF 20 protects your skin against sun damage too.

What happens when the occasion is over and you’re back home after a fabulous time? You never sleep with your make up on!

I use Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk to wipe my face squeaky clean. It is gentle and has a very subtle aroma. It hydrates your skin as it cleans off your make up. I use this cleansing milk when I am back home after a long day of outdoor travel too.

The Moroccanoil Treatment is a Hair Serum I swear by. It coats my hair, protecting it and making it shine. It is non sticky and I am partial to the delicious the fragrance it envelopes my hair in when I apply it on damp hair post a hair wash

*Psssttttt: Sneaking in one more product even though I have mentioned 5 (or have i?) My Colorbar Nailpaint called Old Flame. Try this rich red and you’ll find it difficult to like another shade! *

Ah, that’s interesting, Mayuri. I love Kajal and lipstick/lip gloss too. And Lakme Mousse that light skin foundation. Apart from these my moisturizer, lip balm and body lotion and pure coconut oil to remove any hint of makeup and oil my hair.

The hair serum seems to be very helpful since the volume of my hair keeps on fluctuating. Thanks for sharing such good tips Mayuri.

seriously a woman cannot have enough lipstick. I go crazy at a lipstick counter and am guilty of having similar shades in different brands! But I am extremely choosy about lipstick – i don’t like the weird trends of shocking colors!

I’m trying to going as natural as possible when it comes to skin care
    1) Try Plum’s kajal, bloody brilliant + safe too
    2) Switch the cleansing lotion with cold milk/coconut oil (depending on skin type), wonderous results
    3) Banana+avocado+coconut oil+egg white = mask for your hair once every couple of weeks, I personally promise you’ll find it difficult to keep your hands off your hair. Likhke le lo.

The brand is called MoroccanOil, Veena. After a hair wash I let my hair dry till it is damp. Then i take 3-4 drops of Moroccan Oil, ub them between my palms and run my hands through my hair , avoiding the scalp area. Hope this helps.
