Curly Haired Girl Diaries, with Anveya

Posted on 7 September 202111 April 2022 by Mayuri Sharrma

I am a Curly haired girl who loves her curls. I have used a lot of amazing shampoos, conditioners, and serums so far. They surely help my hair look good, but unfortunately, none of them allow my curls to stay.

The day I wash my hair with a regular Shampoo and Conditioner my hair resembles a giant frizzy halo. Applying a Serum helps tame it down. My hair starts settling in only on the next day, smooth and shiny but no Curls.

Curly Hair needs more moisture than regular hair, else it turns dry which leads to it getting frizzy. Curly hair needs special care and special products. Anveya is one of the 1st Indian brands that have introduced a range of hair care products specially formulated for curly hair.

I have used a wide range of products by Anveya earlier, from essential oils to their regular hair care products) and have been impressed by their quality and pleased that they deliver what they promise.

So, when I read that Anveya has launched a new line called ‘Curls’ a range of Shampoo, Conditioner, and Hair Mist specially formulated for Curly Hair I knew I wanted to try it.

I bought my ‘Curls’ kit from Amazon. It has;

Anveya Curls Cleansing Shampoo: With a very mild and pleasant fragrance, this Shampoo lathers up very well and washes out easily too, leaving my hair clean, soft, and shiny.

Anveya Curls Ultra Moisturising Conditioner: Curly Hair needs a generous amount of moisturizer to maintain the curls. This is why the Ultra Moisturising Conditioner worked for me. This Conditioner moisturizes my hair, leaving it soft. When they say ‘ultra moisturizing’ they mean it as using this conditioner after the shampoo did make my hair feel different. Smooth and curly.

Anveya Curl-Defining Anti Frizz Hair Mist: This Hair Mist was is my absolute favorite! After using the Shampoo and Conditioner I towel dried my hair well. When it was semi-dry, I sprayed the leave-in Hair Mist on my hair roots and all over my hair shaft. I scrunched my hair with my hands and let it dry naturally. My hair did not frizz and it required no ‘settling down’ time either. My hair looked salon set as soon as it dried, curly ringlets et al!

The reason I lean towards Anveya is that their products contain No Sulfates. No Parabens. No Silicones. No Mineral Oil/Petroleum. No GMO. Not tested on Animals. No Nasty Chemicals. On top of this, they have environmentally friendly packaging too. This entire combo is not just safe for the hair but the environment too 😊

The Packaging is so elegant and the pump top shampoo and conditioner bottles are so convenient, more so when you are in the shower with wet and soapy hands. The spray pump of the Anti-Frizz hair mist aids easy and even application too.

I am someone who is extremely sensitive to strong fragrances and chemicals in products. That is why Anveya products have always worked for me. When I use their products, I am assured of a mild fragrance, safe ingredients, and great results.

Are you a girl who loves her curls? What do you use? Have you tried the Anveya ‘Curls’ range yet?

    If you are recommending the brand, I know it is definitely good. I don’t have curly hair, but I do struggle with frizz. Due to my allergies, I generally avoid experimenting but will check out their products.

    I have never heard of the brand but it looks like a good one. Curly hair is the most difficult to maintain. Good to see brands offering products specifically for them.

    I have many friends who are fed up with their curls and often opt for straightening their hair which makes the hair rough and dry once it goes back to normal. Will recommend this brand to them. Btw you look absolutely lovely even in curls!
