I am taking part in a Photo a day challenge for June 2016.
The prompt for the 20th of June is ‘No Filter’ and the above is my picture for the prompt.
This lake, in a gorgeous place called Emerald in Ooty, was the view we were rewarded with post a strenuous trek. This was shot on my MobileCam, and no filters have been used.
Since I haven’t been writing/blogging at all, and I REALLY want to I thought I would use the prompts to attempt to write short stories too.
Below is my story for the prompt,
Water
The drought-hit villagers looked towards the unrelenting sky and prayed for rain, as water continued to course down their cheeks.
