Healthy, Low-fat Smoothies

  • Fruits of your choice, 1 cup
  • Plain Yogurt (Dahi) 2 Tbsps
  • *I have used fruit combinations of
  • 1)Strawberry-Banana(I use the small yellow bananas, called Elaichi Kela, as they have lesser calories, compared to the regular ones) -Watermelon-Pomegranate.
  • 2)Strawberry-Banana-Apple (with skin)
  • 3) Banana-Apple-Pomegranate
  • 4)Watermelon-Apple-Pomegranate-Yogurt
  • You could choose as you like, just avoid very fibrous fruits.
  1. Dice the fruits.
  2. Put in a blender, along with the yogurt and blend until smooth.
  3. If the consistency is too thick, add more yogurt and/or a little water.

  5. I don’t add sugar, but if you would like to sweeten it, add honey.
