- I large Onion, sliced lengthwise
- 1 Tsp Ghee
- 1 Green Chilly, slit
- 1 and a ½ Tbsp Yogurt (Dahi)
- A 1 inch piece of Coconut, grated
- Salt to taste
- For the Waghar / Chaunk / Tadka:
- ¼th Tsp Oil
- Rye
- 1 Dry Red chilly
- A few Curry Leaves
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan and sauté the onions in it till they turn transparent.
- Switch off the flame and allow to cool completely.
- In a mixie, add the onions, the rest of the ingredients and grind together .
- Scoop out in a bowl, and garnish with the waghar.
