Ingredients
  • I large Onion, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 Tsp Ghee
  • 1 Green Chilly, slit
  • 1 and a ½ Tbsp Yogurt (Dahi)
  • A 1 inch piece of Coconut, grated
  • Salt to taste
  • For the Waghar / Chaunk  / Tadka:
  • ¼th Tsp Oil
  • Rye
  • 1 Dry Red chilly
  • A few Curry Leaves
Instructions
  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan and sauté the onions in it till they turn transparent.
  2. Switch off the flame and allow to cool completely.
  3. In a mixie, add the onions, the rest of the ingredients and grind together .
  4. Scoop out in a bowl, and garnish with the waghar.
