Power packed Paniyaram / Paddu

- 1 Cup Urad Dal
- 1 Cup Chana Dal
- 1 Cup Broken Wheat (Dalia)
- 2-3 Green Chillies, chopped fine
- 1 Tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste
- Salt, to taste.
- Wash the dals well.
- Soak together for 4-5 hours, or overnight.
- Discard the water the dals were soaked in.
- Grind the dals to a fine paste, along with the chopped chillies, ginger-garlic paste, salt and water, as required.
- (The batter needs to be a little thinner than dosa batter, to ensure that the paddu's are cooked through)
- Grease each well of your paniyaram pan with a drop or two of oil.
- Drop in a spoonful of batter into each well.
- Cover and cook on a low flame, till the bottoms start browning.
- Flip the paddu's and cook on the other side till done.
- Serve hot, with a chutney of your choice.
