Ingredients:
(Serves 2)
4 Slices of Bread (White/Brown/your choice)
1 medium sized Onion, thinly sliced lengthwise
1 medium sized Tomato, deseeded and thinly sliced lengthwise
1/2 a medium sized Carrot, peeled and grated
1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Salt and Chaat Masala, to taste
1 Tsp of Tomato Ketchup
1/2 Tsp Oil
Butter
Method:
Heat the oil in a non-stick pan
Add the Cumin Seeds and wait for them to splutter
Add the Onions, sauté till they turn transparent
Add the Carrot and Tomatoes and saute till they lose their rawness
Now add the dry masalas and cook well together
Switch off the flame, add ketchup and mix well
Toast the bread slices lightly. Butter them and add the above filling
Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot
P:S: You could also add Capsicum to the filling
